Visitors...

It's been fun to have visitors to the house bringing meals and gifts and mostly themselves to meet Susie.

Below top left and top right is our landlady, Joy, (also works with her husband with Student Venture) who we call "Grandma Joy." We definitely haven't been utilizing this Grandma as she's wonderful with kids.
JJ's little buddy Jake came for a visit with his parents and as you can see they love each other. It was so cute how Jake kept hugging JJ and just thought this bigger guy was the best!
Also, bottom right, is Bethany who just moved to Orlando. We met her in Hungary at Speakout '06. She brought us a Hungarian meal of Gulyas (goulash) and palacsinta! Mmmmm! So good!

At just the perfect time my sister Kristen was able to come and meet Susie. She was vacationing to Disney World with her four girls and husband. It worked out to be just when Susie would have been born. So, she was able to get away by herself one morning and come out to our house. It was an absolutely sweet visit and meant THE WORLD to have one of my dear sisters meet this little one born 1000 miles away from my family.
Kristen, I love you. Thanks so much for bringing yourself here. You have such an encouraging way about you that fosters confidence in me as a Mom. I am so, so thankful to have you as my sister and for all of the ways you have loved me my whole life...especially in these years since Mom went to be with Jesus.

Yeah for visitors and what a blessing your sister could be there? Is she the one I bought CM from? What a blessing and a sweet wonderful tribute.

Hey sister, it was such a treasure to me the time I spent with you and Susie and JJ. It was nice to pretend that I was right in the same town and just coming over for a visit. Oh how sweet it would be if it was true! Thank you for your kind words. You are a great Mom!
