This is the 3rd out of 7 anniversaries that we have celebrated here in Keszthely, Hungary at Speakout. We have loved the special times we get to go out in this quaint, European town all by ourselves…Though always necessary to be armed with mosquito spray, it always proves charming and a special joy to rejoice in a good God who has graciously given us each other for this life journey:-)
The flowers that Jared got me here…He did a great job and got a great mix! You always pick a bouquet like this by picking out the different flowers individually and then they cut and arrange them together…he got all of my favorites—gerbera daisies, astermaria…two-toned roses:-) and favorite colors too!
While we wanted to “switch it up” we found ourselves at the same Mexican restaurant where we have had each anniversary dinner. It was different because we sat inside, which was due, in part, to the fact that it was pretty chilly outside—hard to believe as it’s “Florida hot” right now and has been for days. Anyhow, this restaurant has great (authentic) Mexican food but is quite a bit more expensive than the average $6 meal we usually get here…however, it’s pretty average compared to America:-)
These are some shots of the “walking street” or the street where all of the shops are here in town.
Pictures of the church which is the biggest landmark here, next to the Palace:-) which was closed this night, so we couldn’t walk in there:(
