…in Keszthely!!
Susie…OF COURSE! crawling in the grass…ok, again, WE ARE BIASED, BUT this HAS to be the cutest little crawler EVER:) (at least on Keszthely grass;)
JJ “playing” with the other “Speakout Boys”…except don’t know what he’s doing here??!! Again, don’t know why he was choosing to play basketball from the ground…I guess he was tired:)
This was definitely one of our favorite things at Speakout…Jasper in his underpants—he was potty trained at Speakout, during Project—his parents are real missionaries!! (shoutout to you Julszika!) And Jasper realized he wanted to ride a bike when he rode Joy’s:) Jared playing basketball barefoot! For sure, a favorite! These 2 guys in the red shirts were not at the English Camp, but Jared met them at the basketball court and they live in Budapest, so hopefully they will come to a meeting! He also got to share the Gospel with them! THIS IS DEFINITELY OUR MOST FAVORITE THING IN KESZTHELY!!
‘Fagyi’ (said more like “fudgy”) or ice cream was a favorite for all of us—definitely SUSIE. They put about 2 teaspoons in the cone(s) (we just did it at the end—so she had about 3, I think), but this time she had a little more and SHE LOVED IT!
Daddy kisses on Sweet Susie…of course, a favorite.
Ok, this has to classify as the cutest sundress picture of a little round-faced blonde, chubby, cutie:) a favorite in Keszthely.
She has this little “sashay crawl”…it is so cute and definitely…YOU GUESSED IT! A Favorite in KeszthelySusie watching ‘Praise Baby’ …When I left, I thought I’d find her chewing on yucky shoes, but instead, she was pulling up on the chair to see the DVD player.
Definitely, JJ’s hands-down favorite.
He’d go nearly every day with Jared and many times Jared would also share the Gospel with someone. JJ was so content to just watch the trains come in to “rest” in the station…he could have spent ALL DAY, EVERY DAY there:)
I’ll let the pictures tell the story.
Feeding the Ducks was another favorite—the swans were ferocious and there was a sign that was translated for us that read “Don’t Feed the Swans.” So we had to throw the bread far since the swans were close and they would get it…but if we got it close to the ducks they could beat the swans:) There were times that there were just the ducks and we LOVED that neither swans (which did get fed too;) nor ducks were shy like here. The first time that I took JJ he just giggled at how they swam like crazy and to eat the bread:)
This was the Speakout Fagyi Place. You can see the “I (heart) Speakout” on the cone!JJ’s favorite ice cream is right here…"HUPIKEK” (HOOP-EE-CAKE). This means “SMURF” in Hungarian…unfortunately I couldn’t get a picture of the sign when I had my camera, but this view is kind of cool.
Returning “Home” to the Kollegium…definitely a favorite, BUT…
the Construction and Dust that surrounded us all summer were NOT a favorite…
but many other favorite things made us not think about it very much:)
