Namely because I didn’t share it…sorry…some of you we will see soon…others, sadly, no:( Hope you enjoy…God is so, so good. All the time.
Carving our Jack-o-Lantern at Pre-School
Picking out the pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch
Anita reading the “Pumpkin Patch Parable”
Smiling like the Jack-O-Lantern that lit up the porch in the book…
JJ sick and sleeping on the couch:(
JJ’s best buddy Brandon’s Birthday Party
Air Craft Carrier…Isn’t Brandon’s Mom creative? I’m taking tips:)
His big birthday gift was an Air Craft Carrier
And everyone else played with his other big gift…it was perfect
The Fall Retreat (Student Venture combined with our church, Vista) and went to Camp Gilead.
The kids and I joined for the second night and they had this miniature golf course…of course JJ loved it! He could have spent hours there!
Some of my budding photography pics;)
I got to know these two girls a little…I don’t usually get to do very much, but the students see our family together and this is a huge witness:)
Susie, Qsie, taking her bath in the sink that evening…
The morning at the Fall Retreat, I was given the incredible gift, the third in a set, of being able to behold an incredible sunrise…
I talk about what it teaches me here
And finally, this was our extremely creative Trick-or-Treating Ensemble
GO EAGLES!!!! Susie says…
My football guys…JJ loves football (surprise;) and he can throw an amazing spiral!!! Well, there’s no midgets in Hungary, so it will be interesting what happens to this love as he grows up in non-football dominated country;)
Brandon and JJ were superheroes at the last minute! Anita didn’t even know where it came from as they haven’t watched or seen any (Super Why, maybe:)…they were great last minute superheroes though…
JJ was afraid of our neighbor Alejandro…the Transformer? He is like me, I was terrified of masks through about third grade (so was my twin…’it’s a twin thing’ as her hubby would say)
There was a couple of guys moving back into the neighborhood and they didn’t have candy, but all of the kids jumped into their moving truck…
Aren’t my guys handsome?? Jared looks like some professional football player here…what a cutie!! I mean cuties!!!:)
It’s amazing, JJ didn’t know what ‘trick-or-treating’ was when we started and til we were done, he was like ‘TRICK-OR-TREAT!!’ I’m glad he got to experience it this year as it may be his only year…ever to go trick-or-treating…
Lighting our World:)
Congratulations if you made it this far!
I hope you enjoyed this little journey…it was good for me to remember as I created this post…I have been busy writing on my other blog and as much as I want to ‘do it all’ have been neglecting this one…I wrote 27 posts at ‘Fan the Flame’ in November…I can’t believe it…I am trusting my writing will reach a sane level, but, for now, I am enjoying it so, the more I write the more I understand and grow. It isn’t a light thing to do…it is peeling back the layers of my heart and causing me to desire more of Him…I am so, so thankful for an exceeding number of gifts this Fall (not officially over) and can’t imagine needing one. single. thing. for Christmas:)
