JJ's 1st Birthday Party!

Yesterday (Jared's actual birthday) we had a 1st Birthday Party for our JJ! I can't believe he's almost 1! (it isn't officially until the 21st, but since we are moving...) The day had been rainy and we all prayed the weather would hold out as we were having it at a pavilion in a park. It turned out to be beautiful! Thank You Lord!

My nieces Annika, Camille, Kelsee and Chloe playing on a see-saw.I love this picture...Annika is the best big sister! She learned well from her mommy:-)

This is my friend Alyson's daughter Leah, and my friend Jess' daughter, Brooke...One is almost 2 and the other 2...All of the two-year-olds were having a hard time sharing...I think they'd both be saying "mine" if we could hear them.

Here is JJ re-united with his "twin" BenBen who was born 16 hours before JJ. Everyone commented on how much they look alike with their wavy blonde hair and beautiful eyes and general CHUBBIES!

Here are three neighborhood kids, Gianna, Jason and Dylan that came to the party. We were so glad that they came!

Flight Home...

Unlike the flight over to Hungary (through the night), JJ BARELY slept on the flight back...the airline got us the ONLY spare seat on the flight and we were so thankful as JJ sat there and played A LOT. He passed out of sheer exhaustion as we were landing...At one point I said to Jared, "I don't want to do this ANYTIME SOON again." I almost broke down at one point, but thought "ok Abby, you don't have to THRIVE, just SURVIVE!" and by God's grace we did survive...THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!!

Last Days in Bp...Farewell to Friends

All of the Staff met at a mall in the city to say "goodbyes"...We were sad for all of the goodbyes to dear ones and they will only continue as we move in a few days...

Here is JJ with Kalman and his wife Julia (Julcsi). They loved JJ and we look forward to meeting there little ones coming some time????

We love this picture of Dan Bacsi (Dan was our team leader on STINT and is the director of Speakout)...he is so great with kids and it was fun to see him with JJ. He's pretending that JJ is punching him...

Please pray for us in these next years as we discern if God is calling us to return to Hungary long-term...We truly covet your prayers as we earnestly seek Him for our future ministry.
